Project Update for the K3 Website Pre-orders #1

Thanks for pre-ordered the Keychron’s K3 keyboard on our website, we’re currently shipping out K3 pre-orders. Most of the pre-orders will be shipped out around February 10th except for certain models*.

Since we’re pioneers in mass-producing the MX style low profile optical and mechanical switches, we don’t have any previous industry experience to rely on. Unfortunately, it has led to a production delay of the K3 Kickstarter pre-orders. Our website’s K3 pre-orders were also delayed because of this order sequence, we apologize for any inconveniences.

But this is exactly the reason why we created the K3, we saw a need in the current market that wasn’t met. We also like to apologize if it seems like we might be slow to communicate. We greatly appreciate your patience and we are confident we’re almost there.

*For pre-orders of the K3 Optical White Backlight Brown Switch (Code name: K3D3), K3 Optical RGB Backlight Brown Switch (Code name: K3E3), and orders containing the add-on Low Profile Keychron Optical Brown Switch Set (Code name: Z22), we expect to start shipping on February 19th once shipping services resume after the Chinese New Year holiday.

After we shipped out your parcel, the ETA may vary based on the following:

• North America: Around 5 to 7 business days.
• Europe: Around 15 to 20 business days via Yuntrack.com
• Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam: Around 10 business days (Shipping company stopped service, will start shipping again from February 19th on).
• Australia, New Zealand: Around 5 to 7 business days.
• Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan: Around 3 to 7 business days (For Taiwan, shipping company stopped service, will start shipping again from February 19th on).
• Middle East: Around 7 business days.
• Rest of the world: Around 10 business days via DHL.

If you pre-order the K3 after February 7th, please expect us to start shipping from February 19th on.

Regarding the feedback asking if they can turn off the green charging indicator, we will see if we can improve this through a firmware upgrade.
